New recruits at iAS
iAS continues to strengthen its team with the introduction of new recruits both at the Design Office and on site. The new recruits are part of an ongoing recruiting process aimed at enabling iAS to continue offering the best possible service to its clients adding value to its projects.
With prestigious architectural design projects underway, Sabrina Bertona and Monica Gutierrez Moral have joined the iAS Design Office bringing along their experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM). This system adopted by iAS, enables projects to be designed, detailed and co-ordinated better.
Sabrina Bertona, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering graduate, from the Polictenica di Milano has been residing in Malta for the past two years. Sabrina is passionate about architectural design and her main skills are in the use of Revit for architectural and structural modelling. She joined iAS as a junior BIM technician, and is determined to learn and discover new technologies and experiences.
Monica Gutierrez Moral, is an architect by profession and has acquired extensive experience as a BIM Manager working on international projects. She graduated in Architecture at the Alfonso X El Sabio University of Madrid and later further her studies with a Masters Degree in the application of BIM technologies at the Global Institute of Technology. Monica describes architecture as being her lifestyle constantly observing and analyzing her surroundings. She is ready for the new challenge at iAS as a new experience in her life.
As we reach the final stages of important projects, such as Pendergardens and Crane Currency projects, iAS are gearing up to mobilise on other challenging projects such as the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital extension, Mellieha Holiday Centre extension of bungalows, the Quad Business Towers and other aviation related projects. To this effect, Chris Debono joins the iAS Project Management and Site team, as a Site Co-ordinator, assisting Project Managers on various projects. Chris, an MCAST graduate in Construction Management, has acquired extensive experience in the management and co-ordination of projects, acting as the main contact person for the development of a chain of F&B outlets across Malta. Chris is passionate about project management and is currently further his studies at the University of Malta, undertaking a Masters degree in Project Management. He aspires, to gain sufficient experience and knowledge from iAS such as to be in a position to lead a major construction project in the coming years.
