iAS has been engaged for the project management, planning consultation, structural engineering design and supervision of this major tourist development.
iAS is also conducting cost management and contract administration tasks related to all works involving the construction, services and finishes. The detailed scheme design, including interiors, lighting and landscape, is being undertaken by make, a renowned UK architectural firm which is working closely with iAS design team to attain all necessary local building permits. The design involves the creation of a green sustainable development, geotechnical challenges and use of local rubble wall construction, whilst balancing the inherent logistic challenges in a development over a large footprint and the co-ordination of various parties between Malta and the UK.
